Artist Impression – New Inverkip Community Centre
You’ve probably noticed recently, that there is a lot of building works going on at the location of the old football park, next to the Sainsbury’s Local store. It seems that Inverkip is finally getting it’s own Community Centre.
Work started early November 2015, and it is scheduled for completion September 2016.
The project is being run by Inverkip Community Initiative, which is a group made up of local volunteers, who will steer the project to completion.

Aw, this was a really good post. Taking a few minutes and actual effort to create a really good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a whole lot and never manage to get anything done.
I’ve recently moved into Wemyss Bay and was told that there was plenty going on in Inverkip Community Centre. The websites for it and Inverkip seem to stop in Jan 2017, so how do I find out what is going on in the community centre?

same as previous posts – I’m finding it almost impossible to find out what’s going on at the centre in terms of classes etc

We posted the info we could find about the activity list on inverkip.com in a recent post, you can see it directly here: http://inverkip.com/2017/02/05/inverkip-hub-activities/
I’ve also emailed Kevin, the Centre Manager to see if we can get an up to date version, as the one we could find was a “draft copy”
There is seemingly a new website coming, so hopefully that will provide up to date information.
